QUOTE: “Riding: The art of keeping a horse between you and the ground.” ~ Author Unknown
Equinox Stables was officially started in 2005 with a few temporary shelters and paddocks, where the horses had free access to being in the open or under cover. There were 7 horses in total, which Pam looked after, groomed, fed and cleaned “stables” on her own for the first 6 months before she was able to find a suitable groom.
However it was not long until the construction of the barn of 16 x stables was started and the horses were able to move into their new residence on 31 July 2006.

QUOTE: “ There are only 2 emotions that belong in the saddle, one is a sense of humour and the other is patience.” ~ John Lyons
Every 5 – 6 weeks Equinox Stables is visited by Evan Anderson and Nicky Brain who come and give an instruction clinic for 3 days on Show Jumping and Dressage.
They stay in the cottage on the property when they come down, therefore lessons can start really early in the morning if need be, and if necessary end later in the evening (under the lights if necessary) to facilitate riders that may need to finish at work or deal with any responsibilities they may have.
